Fresh pumpkin, clove, nutmeg, cinnamon, dark bourbon, maple, toasted oak
The origins of pumpkin carving comes from an Irish myth about Stingy Jack. Old Stingy tricked the Devil for his own monetary gain. Upon his death, he wasn't allowed in heaven and he wasn't allowed in hell. Stingy Jack was condemned to walk the earth for eternity. People began carving demonic faces out of turnips to scare away Jack's wandering soul. As Irish immigrants began moving to the United States, they carved pumpkins instead of turnips as pumpkins were more native to the region. Hope you have a Jack-o'-lantern on your doorstep to keep away Ole Stingy Jack! Boo!
